Don Champagne seems to have it all: a successful business, a perfect house, perfect kids and a perfect wife. Unfortunately, when his wife, Mona (Katherine Heigl), learns of Don's affair with a pretty new salesgirl (Jordana Brewster), this suburban slice of heaven spirals out of control. Don soon realizes that Mona will stop at nothing, including murder, to maintain their storybook life where perception is everything. - synopsis from IMDB

It’s not often that I rate a movie very poor, but Home Sweet Hell forced my hand. This movie cannot make up its mind whether it’s a flat out comedy, a drama, an action movie or a thriller/horror flick. It’s so disjointed it falls apart. Most of the humorously intended moments are really not very funny at all. The storyline is predictable and even so still manages to be remarkably spotty. Up to and including the ending, it just keeps getting worse. The ending feels rushed and frankly rather stupid. It’s a very fitting round-up for the rest of the movie, which is disappointing all around.
